How the figures are produced
Every figure shown to you is calculated from answers you gave. Nothing is retrieved from a database of “similar cases”, and nothing is generated as prose by a language model and then presented as a number.
Where the law sets a formula, we apply it to your own figures, such as age, service and pay, with the cap in force. For money you are owed, the figure is what should have reached you less what did.
The full arithmetic is in MyCase behind a “How is this worked out?” panel, line by line, so you can judge the calculation rather than trust it.
What this cannot tell you
- It does not predict an outcome. We do not rank your options, estimate a settlement or say whether you would win. That waits until we have real outcome data.
- It only prices employment disputes. Other dispute types are recognised and mapped out, but deliberately show no figures at all rather than invented ones.
- It only has your side. Nothing here reflects what the other party would say, what documents they hold, or what a judge would make of either.
- It is not legal advice. We are not solicitors. Nothing here creates a solicitor-client relationship or substitutes for advice on your own circumstances.
