How the estimates are produced
Every figure shown to you is calculated from answers you gave. Nothing is retrieved from a database of “similar cases”, and nothing is generated as prose by a language model and then presented as a number.
The estimate starts from what you tell us you have lost, and applies a recovery rate. Disputes very rarely settle at the full amount claimed. That rate moves with a small number of factors: whether you have already raised the complaint with the other side, how long the relationship lasted, and how many of your documents we have actually read. The range around it narrows as real evidence arrives, and stays wide when it has not.

What this cannot tell you
- It is not calibrated against published tribunal awards. The percentages are reasoned starting points. Fitting them to real outcome data is a separate piece of work and it is not done yet. Until it is, treat the numbers as a way of thinking about the shape of your dispute, not as a prediction.
- It only prices employment disputes. Other dispute types are recognised and mapped out, but deliberately show no figures at all rather than invented ones.
- It only has your side. Nothing here reflects what the other party would say, what documents they hold, or what a judge would make of either.
- It is not legal advice. We are not solicitors. Nothing here creates a solicitor-client relationship or substitutes for advice on your own circumstances.
